Chhatarpur Firing Case: Police arrested Shaligram Garg, brother of Baba Bageshwar Maharaj, accused of firing at the farmer.
Chhatarpur. Police have arrested two of the four accused in the case of a dispute regarding the land located behind the cow shed in Rajnagar police station area of Chhatarpur district of Madhya Pradesh. The arrested accused include Shaligram Garg, brother of Bageshwar Dham’s Peethadhishwar Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, and Ankit Mishra. One accused named in the case and another accused are still absconding.

What is the whole matter?
Actually, a case of firing came to light on Tuesday in village Koda of Rajnagar police station area of Chhatarpur district. Victim farmer Motilal Kushwaha alleged that Shaligram Garg, brother of Bageshwar Dham chief Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, shot him. The injured farmer claims that farmers of the area are being pressurized to sell their land. They allege that farmers who refuse to sell their land are threatened and beaten. According to Motilal Kushwaha, during this dispute, a bullet was fired at him, due to which he got injured.
Know what Baba Bageshwar said?
Regarding the whole matter, Baba Bageshwar said that he has nothing to do with Shaligram and he had made this clear three years ago also. He appealed that his name should not be linked to every incident. Baba Bageshwar said that his family is not limited to only the biological family, but the entire society and the whole world is his family. They work for the society, nation and Sanatan Dharma. He said that Chhatarpur district and his family are very big, hence incidents keep happening somewhere or the other. It is not appropriate to relate such matters to him personally. He said that whoever has committed the crime, strict action should be taken against him as per law. “Whoever is guilty, may the law punish him severely and may God also punish him. He said he did not have detailed information about the entire case, so he would not comment on the facts.
