Review of status of Chhattisgarh in NCLI dashboard
In the review meeting held at the Police Headquarters in Nava Raipur, Vijay Sharma, Union Home Ministry, National Criminal Law Implementation (NCLI) Dashboard Reviewed the report. Expressing satisfaction over the improvement in the situation of Chhattisgarh, he said that concrete action should be taken at every level to further improve the ranking of the state.
In the meeting, each parameter of the dashboard was reviewed point-wise. According to officials, there has been a significant improvement in the state's ranking since July. The Deputy Chief Minister gave instructions to maintain the pace of improvement in all parameters.
The process from FIR to court will be faster
Vijay Sharma said that the arrangements for sending FIR and charge sheet directly to the court through online medium should be completed soon. Its objective is to reduce the time taken from investigation to trial in court.

Instructions to issue pending notifications soon
The Home Minister also asked to quickly complete the necessary notifications and procedural arrangements under administrative reforms. He said that merely preparing technical arrangements is not enough, but it is also necessary to increase the efficiency of officers and employees.
According to him, only with better coordination of technology and field level efficiency, the real benefits of the new criminal laws can be delivered to the common citizens.
CCTNS and ICJS were also reviewed
With new criminal laws in the meeting CCTNS And Inter-Operable Criminal Justice System (ICJS) Problems being faced at the state level in the implementation were also discussed. Vijay Sharma discussed technical and procedural solutions with officials of BPRD, NCRB and NIC.
In cases where technical assistance is required from the central level, instructions were given to resolve them quickly by coordinating with the concerned agencies. National Criminal Law Implementation (NCLI) Dashboard It is the digital platform of the Union Home Ministry. These three laws are applicable in the country from July 1, 2024.
