Chris Gayle’s 13 year old record broken, 24 year old Sai Sudarshan created history in IPL – new ‘fear’ created for bowlers

New Delhi. A major record has changed in IPL, which was till now considered the most explosive benchmark in T20 cricket. The 13-year-old monumental record of West Indies batsman Chris Gayle has now been broken. This time this feat has been achieved by Gujarat Titans’ young opener Sai Sudharsan, who has created history with his explosive batting.

In the current season of IPL, 24 year old Sai Sudarshan has made the record of scoring the most runs after 50 innings. By scoring a total of 2178 runs during this period, he has left behind Chris Gayle’s figure of 2061 runs.

This achievement of Sai Sudarshan has once again proved that he has become one of the most reliable and consistent run-scoring batsmen of IPL at present. Along with stability in his batting, aggression is also being seen, due to which he is becoming a constant challenge for the bowlers. Recently, in the match against Punjab Kings, he played an important inning of 57 runs in 41 balls, due to which Gujarat Titans won the match by 4 wickets.

With this, Sai Sudarshan has made another big record in his name. He has also broken Chris Gayle’s record of completing 2000 IPL runs in the fewest innings. Now he has reached number-1 in this matter also.
