Hisar: As per the instructions of Superintendent of Police, Hisar, Hisar Police is continuously taking strict action against drug smugglers, illegal weapon possessors and persons involved in other criminal activities. In this series, the team of CIA Mill Gate, while taking action in Barwala area, has arrested an accused along with illegal pistol and magazine. The arrested accused has been identified as Rohit alias Jangi, son of Dilbagh, resident of Ward No. 8, Barwala.
CIA had received secret information
In this regard, CIA Mill Gate in-charge said that his team was present in the bus stand Barwala area in connection with crime prevention and detection of criminal activities. Meanwhile, the team received secret information that a person was present under the Jind Road Highway bridge carrying illegal weapons. Based on the information, the police team took immediate action and arrested the accused Rohit alias Jangi. Upon search, an illegal pistol of .32 bore and a magazine were recovered from his possession.
A case has been registered against the accused in Barwala police station under relevant sections of the Arms Act. The accused will be produced in the court and taken on police remand and during interrogation, information will be collected regarding the purchase and sale of illegal weapons and its source.

Superintendent of Police, Hisar has made it clear that possessing illegal weapons, displaying them or using them in crimes will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Hisar Police will continuously campaign and take strict legal action against those possessing illegal weapons. Such people should clearly understand that there is no way to escape from the law and police access to those possessing illegal weapons will be ensured at all costs.
The Superintendent of Police has appealed to the general public that if there is information about any person having illegal weapons or someone buying and selling illegal weapons, then immediately inform the police. The identity of the person giving information will be kept confidential.
