During the promotion of the film, Aamir discussed his life and the career of his son Junaid in an interview. When he was asked whether he would gift a car to his son on his birthday, he shared his opinion on the same.

Aamir Khan opened up about Junaid’s career in a conversation with famous standup comedian Zakir Khan. When Zakir asked if he would give a car to his son on his birthday, Aamir flatly refused.

Junaid’s characteristics

Zakir asked Aamir if he would give the vanity van to his son when he himself was producing a film. Aamir said, “No, I will not give it at all.”

He said that Junaid is not the kind of boy who demands vanity. Aamir said, “Junaid has amazing qualities. As a father, I feel proud of him. He is hardworking and respects his co-stars and directors.”

Birthday gift discussion

When Zakir asked what gift he would give to Junaid on his birthday on June 2, Aamir said, “He doesn’t take anything from me.” Zakir suggested giving a car this time, as Junaid still used public transport.

Aamir said, “I have said many times that I will get him a car, but he refuses. He still prefers to travel by bus, train, auto and cab.”
