Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has launched its first ‘Bharat Gaurav’ tourist train to encourage cross-border tourism between India and Nepal. This special train journey has been named ‘Pashupatinath Nepal Darshan Yatra’. This is a wonderful opportunity for travelers who want to enjoy a cultural and spiritual journey. IRCTC had introduced Bharat Gaurav trains to promote theme-based tourism across the country, and this is the first time the service is being extended to Nepal. This initiative is expected to further strengthen tourism relations between India and Nepal.

Date and duration of travel

According to the official website of IRCTC, this journey will start from Indore, Madhya Pradesh on 12 June 2026. This journey will be of 9 nights and 10 days. It is offered as an all-inclusive package, which means that once the ticket is booked, all the train travel, stay arrangements, meals, sightseeing and local transportation will be the responsibility of IRCTC.

Major places included in the trip

During this religious and natural journey, travelers will get the opportunity to visit many famous sites of Nepal. Highlights of the trip include Kathmandu, Pashupatinath Temple, Pokhara, Mankamana Temple and Chitwan National Park. Apart from Indore, passengers of Madhya Pradesh can board this train from Ujjain, Shujalpur, Sehore, Bhopal, Itarsi, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni and Satna stations.

In this tour package, travelers will get a chance to experience the spiritual centers and natural beauty of Nepal. Highlights of the trip include a ropeway ride to the Manakamana Temple, a famous Hindu pilgrimage site located on a hilltop in central Nepal. Apart from this, travelers will also get the opportunity to enjoy a jeep safari in Chitwan National Park, where wildlife like rhinoceros, elephants and Bengal tigers are found. Third AC Comfort: Approximately ₹62,710 per person

Second AC Deluxe: Approx ₹76,550 per person

First AC Superior: Around ₹90,400 per person
