Organization of important seminar

Lucknow. On the occasion of Narada Jayanti and completion of 200 years of Hindi journalism, an important seminar was organized on the topic “Journalism and Social Media”. This program was held at the Center Court Building located at Park Road, Hazratganj with the help of Mahapurush Smriti Samiti and Media Co-op. The program started with garlanding the statue of Maharishi Narad ji.

Program coordinator Bharat Singh welcomed all the guests present and said that there is a need for in-depth discussion on the role of journalism and the challenges of social media in the current digital era. He said that today journalism is no longer limited to just news, but it has become an important means of guiding the society in the right direction. Senior journalist Anil Kumar Singh said that social media is an effective medium for quick dissemination of information, but with it the challenge of identifying misinformation has also increased. We have to pursue journalism with ethics and responsibility.

Senior journalist Padmakar Pandey described the 200 year journey of Hindi journalism as glorious. He urged the new generation to take charge of this legacy and try to make social media a positive platform. Senior journalist Ashish Maurya said that in this era of social media, review of the words of Hindi journalism is necessary.

Other speakers at the event shared their views on ethical values ​​of journalism, impact of social media, challenges of fake news and the need for responsible journalism. On this occasion, many prominent persons of the media world including senior journalist Vinay Tiwari, Brijanandan Raju, Dr. Satendra Tripathi, Santosh Kumar Singh, Shambhu Sharan Verma, Bhaskar Singh, Advocate Anurakt Singh, journalist Amar Bahadur, Astrologer Abhishek Singh, Ajay Sharma, Jitendra Kumar Verma were present.
