In this post, Anushka said that homeopathy has played an important role in her life and she respects the views of Dr. Sankaran. Liver specialist’s response
At the same time, hepatologist Dr. Cyke AB Phillips, known as ‘The Liver Doc’, reacted sharply to this post. He termed homeopathy as a ‘fraud’ and said that these medicines do not contain any active medical ingredients.
He also said that many diseases get cured on their own with time, but people give credit for this to homeopathy. He gave the example of countries like Britain, France and Australia, where government support to these treatments has been stopped. In India, it has been recognized under the Ministry of AYUSH, but this debate has now become heated again.
