This statement has come in the context of the controversy that arose after the teaser release of the film. Govind Namdev, who plays a lawyer in the film, had expressed surprise after watching the teaser. He said that the teaser that has come is completely different from the scenes done during the shooting. Amit Jani got angry on this and scolded Namdev on social media. The production house has sent a notice to Namdev, demanding a public apology and a fine of Rs 50 lakh.
‘The script was given to Govind Namdev’
Amit Jani says that Govind Namdev was given the entire script to read. He also read the synopsis first. Jani clarified that the actor had earlier given full consent, but has now suddenly changed his stance. Earlier, Salman Khan’s team had also sent a notice to the makers of ‘Black Deer’.
In the notice, instructions were given to stop the production and promotion of the film. While sharing the video of this notice, Amit Jani tore it, which went quite viral. Now the matter has reached the court. The court has issued a notice to the film producers and the next hearing will be held on June 19, 2026.
