You should eat light food at least three hours before sleeping, so that your stomach remains clean and you do not have any problem in sleeping. Try to keep your mind calm and focus on the positive things of the day. Taking a lukewarm bath about 20 to 30 minutes before bed helps relax the muscles and nerves, which improves sleep.
Fall in body temperature leads to early sleep, hence bathing with lukewarm water is beneficial. Regular exercise also improves sleep, but be careful to avoid sleeping immediately after exercising. According to nutritionist Rahila Hassan, exercise should be done 3 to 6 hours before bedtime.
