**When will the journey start?**

“Shaktipeeth Yatra Summer Special Tour Package” launched by Lucknow Regional Office of IRCTC is of 6 nights and 7 days. This tour will run from 24 June 2026 to 30 June 2026. During this week-long tour, tourists will experience a unique blend of religious faith, natural beauty and cultural heritage.

**Which places will you visit?**

The journey will start from Katra in Jammu and Kashmir, which is a main base camp for pilgrims visiting Mata Vaishno Devi temple. Here, pilgrims can visit the sacred sanctum sanctorum of Mata Vaishno Devi. After this, the tour will move towards the beautiful cities of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala and McLeodganj. These places surrounded by natural beauty are famous all over the world for their tranquil valleys and Tibetan culture.

Many famous Shaktipeeths are also included in this special religious circuit. Pilgrims will get a chance to visit Jwalamukhi Temple, Sri Vajreshwari Devi Temple and Mata Chamunda Devi Temple. These temples are considered to be the main centers of worship of Shakti (divine female power) and are visited by lakhs of devotees every year. On the last leg of the journey, tourists will be taken to Amritsar in Punjab, where they can pay obeisance at the world famous Golden Temple. Visits to other major tourist places of the city are also part of this itinerary.

What is the price?

The price of the package depends on the type of accommodation you choose. The fee per person for single occupancy is ₹71,600. The fee per person for sharing a room with two people (double sharing) is ₹59,100 and for sharing a room with three people (triple sharing) is ₹57,500. For children aged 5 to 11 years, the fee is ₹50,300 with extra bed and ₹48,400 without extra bed. The fee for children aged 2 to 4 years is ₹32,900 (without bed).

Booking of this tour package is being done on ‘first come, first served’ basis. Due to high demand for Vaishno Devi and Himachal Pradesh Tour in June, seats are limited.
