Release of Thalapathy Vijay’s film Jan Nayakan delayed, new updates revealed
new update for jan nayakan
An important information has come to light regarding Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and famous South Cinema actor Thalapathy Vijay’s upcoming film Jana Nayakan. Due to lack of clearance from the censor board, the film, which was scheduled to release in January, is now likely to release in theaters in late July. The manufacturers are busy completing the certification process as soon as possible.
film release plans
It is expected that Jan Nayakan will get the green signal from the Censor Board this week. After the first Tamil version, the censor process will be completed in Telugu and Hindi as well. According to sources, the makers are planning to release the film on July 16, 23 or 31.
However, Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay’s debut film Sigma may also be released on July 31, due to which there is uncertainty on this date. If this date does not happen, the film can also be released on August 7.
Reason for delay in Jan Nayakan
The film was initially scheduled to release on January 9, but a Censor Board member objected to some scenes, due to which the matter got stuck. The Censor Board directed to send it to the revising committee. The production house approached the Madras High Court against this, leading to a legal dispute between the makers and the CBFC. Later, the makers withdrew their case from the court. Amidst this lengthy process and delays, the film was even leaked online on 9 April.
