Delhi’s famous singer Bismil received threat

New DelhiSinger Mohammad Asif, known as Bismil, famous for his poetry and Sufi songs, has recently received death threats. Haryana gangster Deepak Nandal has demanded extortion money of Rs 5 crore from him. After this incident, the police have increased the security of Bismil and started investigating the matter.

The series of threats started from April

Bismil told the police that this matter of threats started from April. Earlier, his manager had received several threatening messages from a number in Portugal, demanding Rs 5 crore. After this he lodged a complaint with Haryana Police. In May, while Bismil was at home, his manager again started receiving frequent phone calls and threatening messages from a Portugal number, including death threats.

Haryana Police action

Considering the seriousness of the matter, the Special Cell of Haryana Police has registered an FIR and started tracking the international numbers. Also, the local police has provided security to Bismil. Police are now investigating the network of gangster Deepak Nandal.

Delhi’s Mohammad Asif alias Bismil is a famous singer, who is mainly known for classical and Sufi songs. He has more than 10 lakh followers on Instagram and has done many big stage shows. Recently, he performed at the wedding of Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav, which went viral. Bismil is going to do a big show on July 26 at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, where thousands of fans are expected to gather.
