2026 blast in Bollywood

The year 2026 is going to be an important year for Bollywood, in which many films with big budget and star cast are going to be released. Many popular films have been released in front of the audience in the first few months, and now many mega projects are ready to hit the theaters in the remaining part of the year. The specialty of these films is not only their story or budget, but also the exciting clash between the hero and the villain. From Ranbir Kapoor to Yash and Shahrukh Khan to Abhishek Bachchan, many big stars will be seen opposite each other. Let us know about those six films, whose hero-villain clash will get the most attention.

1. Partition 1947 – Sunny Deol vs Abhimanyu Singh

‘Partition 1947’ is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, releasing on 14 August 2026. Sunny Deol is in the lead role in this film, while Abhimanyu Singh will be seen as the villain. Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Awarapan 2’ will also be released on the same day, i.e. on 14th August. This film will compete directly with ‘Partition 1947’. Disha Patani is the female lead in this film, while Shabana Azmi will be seen as a powerful female villain. His face-to-face with Emraan Hashmi is considered to be the biggest attraction of the film.

3. Haiwaan – Saif Ali Khan vs Akshay Kumar

The audience will get to see a new experience in ‘Haivaan’, which will be released on 11 September 2026. Saif Ali Khan is the hero in this film, while Akshay Kumar will be seen in the role of a dangerous villain for the first time. Directed by Priyadarshan, the film is the official Hindi remake of the Malayalam film ‘Oppam’. Mohanlal’s cameo in the film has also become a topic of discussion.

4. Ramayan – Ranbir Kapoor vs Yash

Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana: Part 1’ is one of the most talked about films of this year. Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of Lord Ram and Yash Ravana in the film. However, in the first part the story of both the characters will progress separately, hence limited direct competition may be seen. But the great war between the two in the second part is considered to be the biggest attraction of the film.

5. Ranger – Ajay Devgan vs Sanjay Dutt

Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Ranger’ is also in discussion for release at the end of the year. Sanjay Dutt is playing the role of villain in this film, while Tamannaah Bhatia will also be seen in an important role. The release date of this action film based on the jungle backdrop is yet to be officially announced, but it is likely to be released in December 2026.

6. King – Shahrukh Khan vs Abhishek Bachchan

‘King’ is also one of the most awaited films to be released at the end of the year. In this film, Shahrukh Khan is in the lead role, while Abhishek Bachchan is playing the role of villain. This film will also be Suhana Khan’s first theatrical release. It is expected to see tremendous action and mind games between Shahrukh and Abhishek in this film being directed by Siddharth Anand.

Which clash is most awaited?

Different types of hero-villain clashes will be seen in all these films. While the legendary fight between Ranbir Kapoor and Yash in ‘Ramayana’ is in the news, Akshay Kumar’s negative character in ‘Haivaan’ is increasing the curiosity of the audience. On the other hand, the clash between Shahrukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan in ‘King’ is also considered to be the biggest cinematic clash of the year.
