Simple tips for hair care in monsoon

Hair problems and solutions in monsoon

During monsoon, along with skin problems, hair problems also increase. In this season, due to excess moisture in the air, the scalp becomes oily, which increases the risk of dirt, sweat and fungal infections. Its effect falls on the hair roots, which can increase hair breakage and fall. Hair expert Javed Habib suggests some simple solutions to control this problem.

Adopt the following measures to prevent hair fall:

1. Wash hair regularly: Oil and dirt accumulate quickly on the scalp during monsoon. Therefore, wash hair regularly with a mild shampoo as needed to keep the scalp clean and hair roots healthy.

2. Use oil instead of conditioner: If your hair is not too dry, use light hair oil instead of heavy conditioner in monsoon. Massage the hair gently with oil a few hours before washing the hair, then shampoo. This provides nourishment to the hair and reduces the chances of breakage.

3. Use multani mitti: If your scalp becomes too oily, apply multani mitti hair pack once a week. It helps remove excess oil and dirt, refresh the scalp and strengthen the hair roots.

4. Other Precautions: Avoid combing wet hair, as wet hair is weak and can break easily.

5. Do not keep hair wet for a long time. After shampooing, pat dry gently with a towel and allow hair to dry naturally.

6. Minimize use of heat styling tools.

7. Eat a balanced diet and consume the right amount of nutrients like protein, iron, biotin, zinc and vitamin D.

8. If hair gets wet during rain, wash it with clean water when you return home so that dirt and pollutants do not accumulate on the scalp.

9. If hair fall is continuous or excessive, do not rely only on home remedies; Consult a dermatologist.
