August Car Launches 2026: From SUV to luxury car, these cool cars will be launched this month; Know the possible price

Many big companies are preparing to launch new and updated cars in August, ranging from electric SUVs and plug-in hybrids to petrol models and facelifts. The special thing is that this lineup includes models from big brands like MG, Mahindra, BMW, Skoda, Audi and Volvo.

MG Hector Hawk
MG is expected to launch its new SUV, Hector Hawk, on August 26. Coming in a category above the existing Hector, this vehicle will be a new name in the company's portfolio. This SUV is being built on a new architecture which has been specifically designed keeping electric vehicles in mind.

The most striking feature of the Hector Hawk will be its powertrain; It is expected to be offered with both electric and plug-in hybrid options, allowing customers to choose the powertrain as per their needs. Through this new SUV, MG is trying to strengthen its hold in the premium and electric SUV segment of the Indian market.

Mahindra Vision S and BE6
Mahindra is also ready to make some important announcements in August. The company may introduce the production version of the Vision S during the Independence Day celebrations. The Vision S is envisioned as a compact yet rugged SUV, measuring under four meters in length.

The design of this SUV, built on Mahindra's new architecture, is expected to be bold and strong. Once the production model is revealed, important details regarding its design, features and powertrain are expected to be revealed.

Till now, the long-wheelbase (LWB) version of the BMW X1 was only available with electric powertrains, but now it is expected to be offered with petrol engine option as well. This means that Indian customers can get the option of an electric variant as well as ICE (petrol) engine for the X1 LWB.

Due to the longer wheelbase, the new X1 LWB is expected to offer more legroom and better accommodation to the rear passengers. According to reports, this new LWB model may replace the standard X1 currently sold in India.

Skoda can launch the facelift version of its popular sedan, Slavia on August 18. This won't just be a model with minor cosmetic changes; Big updates are expected in this.

The exterior design of the new Slavia will be updated and many changes can be seen in the interior as well. These may include design elements and feature updates seen in the Kushaq facelift.
