How to make sweets at home

Material
– Dates – 1 bowl
– Dry coconut – 2 balls
– Milk – 1 liter
– Dry fruits (pistachios and almonds) – chopped
– Ghee – 1/2 cup
– Semolina – 3/4 cup
– Cardamom powder – 1/2 teaspoon
– Mishri or sugar – 1/2 cup
– Milk powder – 5 tbsp
Barfi recipe
– First of all, cut the dates, take out the seeds and cut the dry coconut into small pieces.
– Put 1 liter full cream milk in a pan and heat it on medium flame.
When the milk starts boiling, add chopped dates and coconut. Lower the flame and cover the lid and let it cook.
– After 10 minutes, remove the lid and stir the mixture. If the quantity of milk is more, cook it further.
– Let the mixture cool and then grind it in a mixer.
– Heat ghee in a pan and add semolina and fry until it turns golden.
– Add cardamom powder, sugar candy or sugar, milk powder and dry fruits and mix well.
– After 3 minutes, turn off the gas and pour the mixture in a greased plate.
– Spread it well and add chopped nuts on top. After setting, cut into desired shapes.
– Your coconut barfi is ready. Eat it with joy on festivals.
Things to keep in mind while making barfi
– Pay attention to the gas flame.
– Do not add water or milk while grinding the mixture.
While frying the mixture, ensure that it does not remain sticky.
