The special thing about this facility is that eligible vehicle owners do not need to visit toll plazas again and again to get the local pass, as this service is now available online.
Who can avail the benefits of FASTag Local Pass?
FASTag Local Pass is primarily for vehicle owners who live within a 20 km radius of a particular toll plaza and regularly pass through it. Earlier, such people had to face many difficulties in toll payment or getting separate passes. But now, eligible people can apply online for local pass from the comfort of their home.
Where did this facility originate?
The Digital Local Pass facility was first launched in July 2026 at the Mundka-Bakkarwala toll plaza on Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II), Delhi. After its successful implementation there, the service has now been extended to 121 toll plazas across the country. However, note that this feature is not currently available at every toll plaza; Therefore, people living near every toll plaza will not be able to avail this facility.

First of all, download the 'Rajmarg Yatra' app.
Log in to your account and select the 'FASTag Local Pass' option.
Select the specific toll plaza for which you require a pass.
Fill the required information requested.
Complete the digital verification process.
Once the verification is successful, the local pass will be linked to your FASTag account.
