Recipe to make delicious Malpua
Plain Traditional Malpua
If you want to make Malpua in a simple way, then this method is suitable for you. Here are the ingredients needed and the method:
necessary materials
– 1 cup flour
– half cup powdered sugar
– 1 cup lukewarm milk
– 1 tsp fennel
– A little cardamom powder
– For frying- pure desi ghee and refined oil
Method of preparation
– Mix flour and powdered sugar well in a vessel.
Now slowly add lukewarm milk into it and prepare a smooth batter. Take care that there are no lumps in the solution.
– Add fennel and cardamom powder to it and beat it well. Cover it and let it set for 20 to 30 minutes.
– Heat ghee in a pan and keep the flame medium.
Then fill a ladle with the batter and pour it in the middle of the pan. It will automatically spread into a round shape.
-Fry it from both sides until it becomes golden and crisp. Your delicious Malpua is ready.
Khoya Malpua
For a special sweet during festivals, making Khoya Malpua is a great option.
necessary materials
-1 cup fresh mawa (khoya)
-half cup flour
-half cup milk
-2 teaspoons finely chopped dry fruits (almonds, pistachios)
-For syrup- 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water
How to make Khoya Malpua
– First of all, make a syrup by boiling sugar and water in a big vessel.
– Add cardamom powder to it.
– Then mash the mawa well so that it becomes smooth.
Now prepare a thick batter by mixing flour and milk in the mawa.
– Heat ghee in a pan and fry small malpuas with this mawa solution on medium flame.
– After frying, dip the Malpua in lukewarm syrup for 2 minutes.
Then take it out and serve garnished with dry fruits.
Healthy Banana Malpua
Delicious Malpua can also be made using fruits. It is very soft and children will also like it.
necessary materials
– 1 cup ripe banana
– 1 cup wheat flour or maida
– Half cup sugar or jaggery powder
– 1 cup milk
– Ghee for frying
Method of preparation
– Mash ripe banana well in a bowl.
Now prepare a thick batter by adding flour, sugar and milk to it. Also add some fennel powder to it.
– Heat ghee in a pan and pour the prepared batter into the pan.
– Fry it on medium flame until it turns golden brown on both sides. Due to banana it will become very soft and spongy from inside. While serving, add chopped nuts over it.
