Issue of derogatory language towards women
He also asked whether such behavior was in keeping with the pride of the 'Marathi manoos' (Marathi person).

Talking about the use of derogatory words against women on social media, the 45-year-old actress said that this misbehavior is not limited to any particular age, profession or background.
Shweta Tiwari's personal experience
She wrote, “Today I want to talk about something that is very worrying and unfortunately very common on social media: calling a woman a 'r****' (derogatory term). Any woman. Any age. Any profession. Any man from any background can come online and call a woman a 'r****'.”
Tiwari said that it is sad to know that some people who use such language are educated and come from good families.
Question to Raj Thackeray
Tiwari directly questioned Raj Thackeray, “If such people are your supporters, do you think this is the right behaviour?” He said that the identity of being Marathi should also include respect for women.
He wrote, “Because speaking Marathi, calling oneself a 'Marathi manoos' or claiming to love Maharashtra is not enough. Respecting women is also a part of that identity.”
Experience of misbehavior on social media
Tiwari also talked about the misbehavior she and other contestants faced during Instagram Live. He said, “Just yesterday, @gulati06 started an Instagram Live with the contestants of 'The Traitors'. I noticed that a lot of people were casually calling us 'r****s'.”
She also alleged that her children were targeted in some online comments.
