Bisalpur Dam is one of the most important dams of the state located in Tonk district of Rajasthan. This dam is built on the Banas River and is used for drinking water supply as well as irrigation. It holds an important place in the water resources of Rajasthan.

Bisalpur Dam is located in Bisalpur village near Deoli tehsil of Tonk district of Rajasthan. It is near Jaipur-Kota road. The dam is located at a distance of about 70 kilometers from Tonk and about 125 kilometers from Jaipur.
Creation and history
Bisalpur Dam was constructed by the Government of Rajasthan. Its construction work was completed in the 1990s and the dam was ready in the year 1999. It was built mainly for the purpose of irrigation and drinking water supply.
