Before the beginning of the festive season, there has been an increase in the excitement regarding new bikes in the Indian automobile market. Two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto is preparing to introduce many new models for the customers this festive season. According to reports, the company can launch about 6 new or updated motorcycles in the Indian market before Diwali.
If you too are preparing to buy a new bike in this festive season, then the upcoming models of Bajaj can be special for you.
Company's big focus on Pulsar NS range
Pulsar brand plays an important role in Bajaj's sales. The company is now preparing to advance its sporty NS series with new updates.
First of all, the updated models of Pulsar NS125 and NS160 are expected to hit the market. Changes like new graphics, modern digital features and better handling can be seen in these. After this, NS200 and NS400Z are also likely to get new updates.
Entry into new segment with first ADV bike
Bajaj is now preparing to enter the adventure bike segment as well. The company's new ADV or dual-sport motorcycle has been seen during testing.
This bike is likely to get a 250cc air/oil-cooled engine. Keeping in mind long distances and bad roads, it can be given features like front forks, rear monoshock, high-mounted exhaust and digital TFT console.
The new bike can compete with motorcycles like Hero Xpulse 210 and Suzuki V-Strom SX.
Preparation to challenge Royal Enfield with retro bike
Bikes like Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X have already been launched in the Indian market due to the partnership between Bajaj and Triumph. Now the company can prepare to launch a new retro style bike under this partnership.
There is a possibility that this bike will come in 350cc segment and its design will be based on classic and premium cruiser theme. It may be aimed at strengthening its position in the retro motorcycle market dominated by Royal Enfield.
Company increasing production capacity amid increasing demand
Bajaj is also working on increasing its production capacity in view of its increasing demand. The company is said to be planning to increase its annual manufacturing capacity from around 72 lakh units to more than 90 lakh units.
If these new models come in the market before Diwali, then Bajaj's presence can become stronger during the festive season. However, official information regarding the launch date, price and features of all these models is awaited.
