Tata Tigor Facelift: New Tigor will cost around Rs 6 lakh! You will get the benefit of sporty look, cool features and CNG

The craze for sedans continues even today in the Indian car market. Sedans are in demand especially among those customers who want a car with comfortable cabin, good mileage and strong build quality at a low price. In this segment, Tata Motors is preparing to launch its popular Tigor in a new avatar.

According to reports, the Tata Tigor Facelift has been spotted several times testing on Indian roads. It is believed that the company can make many important changes in its design as well as features and interior. The most important thing is its expected price, which is expected to start from a starting ex-showroom price of around Rs 6 lakh.

The new Tigor will compete with sedans like Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Honda Amaze in the market. Let us know what changes can be seen in the new model.

New front design will give sporty look
Preparations are on to make the exterior of the new Tigor facelift more attractive than before. Based on the testing model, a new front grille, updated LED headlamps and a more sporty designed bumper can be seen in it.

Apart from this, new alloy wheels are expected in the side profile of the car and updated tail lamp design in the rear. Due to these changes, the new Tigor may look more modern and premium than before.

Many hi-tech features can be found in the cabin
The interior of the new Tigor may also give a more premium feel to the customers than before. It is expected to get a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which can support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Apart from this, features like digital driver display, automatic climate control, ventilated seats and better sound system can also be found. Efforts can be made to give the cabin a more modern look with new seat upholstery and updated color theme.

Along with petrol, option of CNG will also be available
The new Tigor is expected to retain the existing 1.2-litre petrol engine. This engine generates power of about 86 PS and torque of 113 Nm. It can be offered with 5-speed manual and automatic transmission.

Its iCNG variant is also expected to be available for customers who prefer CNG. With the help of Tata's twin-cylinder technology, an attempt has been made to keep the boot space more practical. Reports are claiming a mileage of around 28 km/kg for the CNG model.
You can get a big upgrade in safety also
Tata cars have been known for their strong build quality and safety features. The current Tigor has received a 4-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test.

To further improve safety in the facelift model, features like 6 airbags, electronic stability program, hill-hold assist, tire pressure monitoring system and rear parking camera are expected to be provided.

If the company offers the new Tigor with so many features at a starting price of around Rs 6 lakh, then it can become a strong option in the budget sedan segment. However, its actual price, features and launch date will be officially confirmed only after the company's announcement.
