EPFO's new WhatsApp channel
In an important step, the Employees' Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has launched an official WhatsApp channel for crores of its members and pensioners. The organization shared this information through a post on social media platform X.
Under this new facility, PF account holders will be able to get all the information related to their accounts and new schemes of EPFO directly on their WhatsApp.
How to join the channel
Through QR Code: EPFO has released a QR code on its official X handle. You can directly join the channel by scanning this code from your mobile.
Via direct link: You can also join the WhatsApp channel by clicking on the official link provided by EPFO.
On joining the channel, you will keep getting information about PF balance, claim updates and new guidelines of the organization on the registered mobile number.
PF withdrawal through UPI
You can also withdraw PF money through UPI: EPFO is also working on other major changes in PF features. Soon members will get the facility to withdraw their money through UPI. The government has confirmed this. The trial of withdrawing PF from UPI has been successfully completed. After the implementation of this facility, members will be able to easily transfer their PF money to their bank account.
