Growing popularity of natural beauty products
Nowadays, along with expensive beauty products, home remedies and natural face packs are also much discussed on social media. Especially, people worried about acne, oily skin and facial complexion are using face packs made from natural ingredients like neem, aloe vera, gram flour and turmeric. One such face pack is prepared from Neem, Aloe Vera, Gram Flour and Turmeric, which is considered helpful in keeping the skin clean and improving the face. However, dermatologists say that the effect of home remedies may vary from person to person. People with sensitive skin should take special precautions.
Method to make Neem and Aloe Vera face pack
To make this face pack, first take some fresh neem leaves and wash them thoroughly. Then add aloe vera gel to it and grind both to make a smooth paste.
Now add one tablespoon gram flour and a pinch of turmeric to this paste and mix well.
Apply the prepared paste gently on the clean face and leave it for about 10 to 15 minutes. After this, wash the face with normal water and instead of rubbing the face with a soft towel, pat it dry with light hands.
Can this face pack help with acne?
Small clinical studies conducted on some skin products containing neem and turmeric have shown improvement in mild to moderate acne and oily skin. At the same time, the limited research available on aloe vera also suggests possible help with acne when used in combination with some other treatments.
However, it is important to note that this Neem-Aloe Vera homemade face pack is not a cure for acne. If acne persists, increases or is painful and swollen, it is advisable to consult a dermatologist.
Precautions before use
Natural things are not safe for everyone's skin. Neem, aloe vera or turmeric may cause irritation, redness or allergies in some people.
Therefore, patch test it on a small area of skin before using it for the first time. Do not apply it around the eyes and if you feel irritation or itching, wash immediately.
Remember: Homemade face packs can be part of normal skin care, but should not be considered a substitute for a proven acne treatment.
