72nd National Film Awards organized
Kevadia. Famous Bollywood actor Kartik Aryan was awarded the Best Actor award for the film 'Chandu Champion' and Mammootty for 'Brahmayug' at the 72nd National Film Awards. At the same time, actress Yami Gautam received the title of Best Actress for 'Article 370'. The ceremony was organized on Tuesday in Ekta Nagar (Kevadiya), Gujarat. The winners were announced on 18 July.
The film 'Srikanth' received the Best Hindi Film award, while 'Article 370' was awarded the Best Feature Film award. Tamil actor Dhanush was honored with National Awards in two categories. Actor Anant Nag was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2024 for his contribution to Indian cinema. He has worked in more than 300 films in Kannada, Telugu and Hindi.

After receiving the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, Anant Nag said that his journey as an actor has been amazing. He told that he started his career for Paapi Pete and did 50 plays in 5 years. He experienced his greatest opportunities in Karnataka and Kannada films.
Anant Nag said that last year he had received the Padma Bhushan award and this time again it is a matter of good fortune for him to receive the Dadasaheb Phalke award. He expressed his gratitude to all the colleagues and said that this award is not only for him but for all the producers, directors and technical team. He also mentioned his birthplace and work place.
