A new happiness has arrived in the house of famous Bollywood director Imtiaz Ali, who has made hit films like 'Jab We Met', 'Rockstar' and 'Tamasha'. Imtiaz recently announced that his daughter Ida Ali got engaged to her long-time boyfriend Krish Aggarwal. He shared a glimpse of this special occasion on social media, in which he sought best wishes for the new couple. Ida wore a baby pink saree, while Krish chose a black sherwani. Imtiaz wrote along with the picture, “Wishing you all your blessings, newly engaged Krish and Ida.”

The engagement happened after Ida showed her followers a video of the proposal. On July 12, she shared a video in which Krish was seen proposing to her and also showed off her engagement ring. “This is the biggest happiness for me,” Imtiaz told Hindustan Times. She also revealed that Krish had talked to Ida before proposing to her.
Ida Ali's identity
Ida Ali, who is Imtiaz Ali's daughter, is making her mark as an emerging filmmaker. He directed his first short film 'Lift' at the age of 17. After this, he studied filmmaking at Chapman University in California. Ida has worked on projects like 'Maya' and 'Ulejhe Hue', in which she wrote 'Ulejhe Hue' for Amazon MiniTV.
Imtiaz Ali's next project
Imtiaz Ali has not shared any information about his next directorial project. His recent film 'Main Vyapar Aaunga' starred Vedang Raina, Sharvari, Diljit Dosanjh and Naseeruddin Shah. The film received positive response in theaters and made on a budget of around Rs 70 crore, the film grossed Rs 99 crore.
