Raw milk and liquorice face pack for glowing skin

Home remedies for glowing skin

Before going to any wedding, party or special occasion, everyone wants their face to be clean, glowing and fresh. For this, many people go to parlor to get facial and skin treatment done, but if you do not have time to go to parlor, then you can do some simple remedies at home also. Recently, a homemade face pack made of raw milk, rice flour and liquorice is being discussed a lot on social media.

Ingredients for making face pack

Doctor Priyanka Trivedi has shared how to make and use this face pack in her Instagram video. You do not need expensive skin care products for this face pack. All you need are these five ingredients:

  1. raw milk
  2. rice flour
  3. liquorice powder
  4. Honey
  5. Rose water

A soft paste is prepared by mixing these ingredients.

Method to make face pack

It is very easy to make this face pack. First of all, pour some raw milk in a clean bowl. Then add rice flour and liquorice powder to it. After this add some honey and mix all the ingredients until a smooth paste is formed.

If the paste becomes too thick, add some rose water to it. In this way your homemade face pack will be ready.

Right way to apply face pack

Before applying face pack, clean your face thoroughly. After this, apply the prepared paste gently on the face and neck.

Leave it for about 10 to 15 minutes and then wash it with normal water. After washing your face, apply moisturizer according to your skin. Take care not to rub the rice flour mixture vigorously on the face, as it may cause irritation.

Importance of liquorice and honey

Liquorice has been used in traditional skin care. The elements present in it can help in problems related to skin tone. At the same time, honey is helpful in providing moisture to the skin. Rice flour helps in making this face pack a paste.

However, the claim that applying these ingredients by mixing them will change the color of the face or completely eliminate blemishes is not scientifically confirmed.

Importance of patch test

Homemade ingredients don't mean it will be safe for everyone's skin. Some people may be allergic to raw milk, honey, liquorice or rose water.

Therefore, before applying on the face, do a patch test by applying a little mixture on the inner part of the hand. Do not use if itching, redness, swelling or irritation occurs. Avoid using such home experiments on sensitive skin.

If you want to give freshness and health to your skin before a wedding or party, the most important thing is to keep the face clean, get enough sleep, drink water and use moisturizer and sunscreen regularly.
