New Delhi: During the hearing held in the Supreme Court on Tuesday, Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) informed about withdrawal of its march proposed on September 5. Let us tell you, on behalf of the organization, the court was told that in view of the positive assurance received from the Central Government and the order of the court, it has been decided to withdraw the call for march. What did the co-coordinator of the organization say
Actually, CJP had announced to take out the march on 5th September. But during the hearing of the case on Tuesday, the co-convenor of the organization Saurav Das presented his side before the court. He said that keeping in mind the trust received from the government and the dignity of the Supreme Court, the organization has decided to withdraw the march.
Changed stance after government's assurance
During the hearing, the Solicitor General also presented the government's side on the matter. He said that the main reason behind the announcement of the protest was the fear of the protesters that the government would not fulfill its promises. Due to this concern the march was announced. The Solicitor General said that now after the assurance given by the government, a positive response is expected from the protesters. He indicated that the march could be postponed under the current circumstances.
CJI said important things to both the parties
During the hearing, the Chief Justice of India also commented on the stance of both the parties. He said that if talks are held with positive thinking and good spirit from both the sides then the dispute can be resolved easily. The Chief Justice's comments are being considered important in taking the matter forward through dialogue instead of confrontation.
'Both sides are not enemies'
Solicitor General Tushar Mehta also said that there has been a positive and cooperative attitude from both sides. He clarified that both the sides are not enemies of each other. After this hearing in the Supreme Court, CJP's proposed march of September 5 has been postponed for the time being. After the government's assurance and the organization's changed stance, hopes for a peaceful resolution of the matter have increased.
