Jantar Mantar Protest News Marathi: The agitation which has been going on for more than a month at Jantar-Mantar in Delhi has finally been called off. After three rounds of discussions with the Central Govt Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) announced suspension of agitation. The CJP claimed that the government has accepted all the three major demands of the party.

At a joint press conference held at the Constitution Club, CJP national spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka said that the government has accepted all our demands. Therefore, he appealed to all the agitators to immediately withdraw their agitation peacefully and return to their homes. He further clarified that information regarding future strategy and other issues will be given at the appropriate time.

CJP Chief Spokesperson Sourav Das also appealed to the protesters to return home. He said that he was withdrawing the agitation, believing the promises made by the government and expecting the conditions to be implemented within the stipulated time frame. Meanwhile, Union Minister J. P. Nadda informed that families affected by NEET exam-related suicides will be given financial assistance as per rules. The CJP had demanded a compensation of Rs 1 crore to these families. Ashutosh Ranka said that the government has promised to give honorable financial compensation as per legal provisions.

Besides, the CJP has also submitted a five-point statement of demands to the government for comprehensive reforms in the education system and examination system. The party clarified that there will be another meeting on these demands in the next four weeks, after which the next stand will be decided.

Amid CJP’s (Cockroach Janata Party) agitation at Jantar Mantar protesting the NEET paper leak, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has resigned from his post. Even after Pradhan’s resignation, the CJP agitation was withdrawn. CJP National Spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka said that the meeting held on Friday has received a positive response from the government regarding compensation and cases filed against the protesting students. Both issues have been agreed in principle and they hope to get a written reply. Ranka also reacted to the government’s decision to remove 47 NTA officials.
