Delhi Metro posted on its social media platform ‘X’ that stations at Lok Kalyan Marg, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Ramakrishna Ashram Marg, Barakhamba Road, Supreme Court, Seva Tirtha, Janpath, Mandi House, Central Secretariat, ITO, Delhi Gate, Indraprastha, Khan Market, Jor Bagh and Shivaji Stadium have been closed till further notice.

Earlier on Wednesday, 16 stations of Delhi Metro were closed till further notice due to security concerns. However, interchange facilities were provided at Rajiv Chowk, Mandi House and Central Secretariat stations. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) announced on its social media platform ‘X’ that Lok Kalyan Marg, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Ramakrishna Ashram Marg, Barakhamba Road, Supreme Court, Seva Tirtha, Janpath, Mandi House, Central Secretariat, ITO, Delhi Gate, Indraprastha, Khan Market, Jor Bagh and Shivaji Stadium will remain closed till further notice.

On Sunday, Janpath, Rajiv Chowk, Patel Chowk, Central Secretariat and Seva Tirtha metro stations were also closed till further notice due to security concerns. However, after some time the interchange facilities at Rajiv Chowk and Central Secretariat stations were restored and reopened through access. Meanwhile, Delhi Police has registered 10 FIRs in connection with the violence and law and order incidents during the Chief Justice’s march to Parliament. According to the police, these cases have been registered in connection with various incidents that took place during the agitation, and the investigation is on.
