Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has given details of donations (contribution report) received to the Election Commission for the year 2025-26. The party claims that donations worth Rs 12.10 crore have been received in the financial year 2025-26. Last year in 2024-25, the party had received a donation of Rs 38.10 crore. Accordingly, this time there has been a decline of 68 percent in donations. This is the party's first full financial year after losing power in Delhi in February 2025.
According to the report, Prudent Electoral Trust and Trident Limited were the biggest donors of the party. Both of them gave Rs 5 crore each. The share of these two in the total declared donations is about 83 percent. The party has received donations from around 1,202 different places.

How much has Ashutosh Ranka donated?
The name of former AAP spokesperson and now cockroach Janata Party (CJP) co-convenor Ashutosh Ranka is also in the list. He had given Rs 21,100 to AAP in 2025-26 before assuming the role in CJP. Party chief Arvind Kejriwal made three contributions of Rs 10,000 each. In this way he gave a total of Rs 30,000 in this financial year.
Who donated the most?
Trident Limited was founded by former AAP Rajya Sabha MP Rajinder Gupta. The company's check of Rs 5 crore is dated January 9, 2026. At that time Gupta was associated with AAP. He joined BJP in April this year. Trident is a company from Punjab, where AAP is in government. Prudent Electoral Trust was also the party's biggest donor in 2024-25. This trust had given a total of Rs 16.40 crore. Earlier in 2023-24, AAP had donated Rs 11.06 crore.

What did other parties get?
TDP has agreed to receive Rs 58.25 crore as donation in 2025-26. Last year this figure was Rs 83.03 crore. YSR Congress Party has declared Rs 24.31 crore, whereas its donation in 2024-25 was around Rs 140.04 crore. BJD did not disclose any donation above Rs 20,000 in its latest report.
