Rajasthan Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma has extended warm wishes and congratulations to the people of the state on the occasion of the foundation day of Suryanagari Jodhpur. Describing Jodhpur as a unique identity of bravery, self-respect, rich culture and glorious heritage, the Chief Minister said that this historical city is the pride of Rajasthan.

Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma in his message said that Jodhpur has been glorifying the rich identity of Rajasthan in the whole world through its glorious traditions, vibrant folk culture and unique architecture. He said that Suryanagari Jodhpur holds a special place in the cultural heritage not only of Rajasthan but of the entire country.

He further said that Jodhpur’s historical heritage, forts, palaces, folk art and traditions are a symbol of the cultural richness of the state. This city has been inspiring bravery, sacrifice and self-respect for centuries.

Praying to Karni Mata, the Chief Minister said that Jodhpur should continuously establish new dimensions of development and prosperity and the life of its citizens should be full of happiness, peace and prosperity. He also called upon the people of the state to preserve their cultural heritage and traditions.

In the message issued by the Chief Minister’s Office, it was said that the Rajasthan government is continuously working to preserve and promote the historical heritage and cultural identity of the state. Historical cities like Jodhpur are playing an important role in strengthening the glorious identity of Rajasthan at the global level.
