If someone is illiterate then we cannot teach him…MP Karan Bhushan’s counterattack on Vinesh Phogat’s statement

Gonda. A three-day Open Senior National Ranking Wrestling Championship is going on at Nandani Nagar Sports Stadium in Nawabganj, Gonda. On the last day of wrestling, Kaiserganj MP Karan Bhushan Singh also reached the stadium and started the competition by introducing himself to the male and female wrestlers. During this, he also gave his sharp reaction to Vinesh Phogat’s statement.

Karan Bhushan said that if anyone uses words like shameless, it shows his mentality. If someone is illiterate, we cannot teach him. Everyone should know their limits. We also feel bad about many things but we don’t say anything.

Meanwhile, while talking to the media, he said that about 1400 male and female players are participating in the 2026 Senior Ranking Championship. It includes wrestlers from both freestyle and Greco-Roman categories. Describing it as a big wrestling event, he said that the semi-dome infrastructure built for wrestling in Nandani Nagar is rare not only in the whole of India but also in Asia.
On the question of women players coming here after three years, he said that there were some obstacles, but now all the problems are over and the competition has started smoothly again.
