CM Dhami listened to PM Modi’s address with hostel daughters, gave mantras for success

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in a very special program at his official residence on Sunday. The occasion was the 134th edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’. But this time the special thing was that CM Dhami listened to this program not alone, but sitting with the little girl students of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Residential Girls Hostel. PM Modi’s voice was echoing on the radio and the Chief Minister was sitting among the children and trying to understand their thoughts.

Actually, the atmosphere of this program organized at the Chief Minister’s residence was very informal and intimate. After the Prime Minister’s address was over, CM Dhami directly interacted with the girl students and asked them what they learned from this program today. The children also shared their views with the Chief Minister without any hesitation.

‘Mann Ki Baat’ became a medium of big change in the society

While talking to the girl students, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that this program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is no longer just a radio show, but it has become a powerful medium to inspire the countrymen. He said that every month PM Modi finds and brings such inspirational stories from every corner of the country, which inspire others to work in public interest. The messages given by the Prime Minister on topics like self-reliant India, environmental protection, cleanliness, and promotion of local products (local for vocal) are laying the foundation for positive change in the society.

Praising the unsung heroes of Uttarakhand

The Chief Minister laid special emphasis on the fact that with the inspiration of the Prime Minister, there are many people in Uttarakhand today who are bringing big changes in the society without any publicity. He said that the state government is continuously identifying such people associated with land and is working to encourage them. It is being told that the CM also advised the children to learn from such people.

Discussion on protection from extreme heat and traditional drinks

In this time’s ‘Mann Ki Baat 134th Edition’, the Prime Minister also mentioned the changing mood of the weather and the scorching heat. The Chief Minister reminded the girl students that PM Modi has appealed to everyone to take special care of health. The Prime Minister has emphasized on adopting traditional and indigenous drinks of the country to escape the heat, and has also praised the qualities of Indian fruits like mango. CM told the children that we should include these traditional things in our diet.

CM Dhami gave the basic mantras of success to girl students

After the address was over, the Chief Minister’s entire attention was on the girls of the hostel. Encouraging the children, he said that one should not remain only a bookworm in life. Along with studies, it is important to actively participate in sports and other areas of your interest. Giving the mantra of success to his daughters, he said, “Small positive efforts made in life become the basis of big changes in the future. When you do some good work with full devotion and dedication, it becomes an example for others.”

On this special occasion, MLA Mahant Dalip Singh Rawat was also present along with the Chief Minister, who encouraged the children. At the end of the program, the Chief Minister wished for a bright future for all the girls.
