It is being told that Asad was planning to run away from the city, but before that the police surrounded him from all sides. Seeing himself surrounded, the accused started firing at the police team, after which he was killed in retaliation. A policeman was also injured by bullet in this encounter.

Actually, the police had received concrete information from the informer that Asad was going to come to Khoda area in the early hours to collect money from someone he knew. Based on this input, the Swat team and local police laid a trap in the area. After some time, Asad was seen coming on a motorcycle with one of his companions. When the police signaled him to stop, instead of stopping the bike, he increased his speed and started firing at the police.

Police retaliation and the end of Assad

The police also retaliated in self-defense. During several rounds of firing from both sides, Asad fell seriously injured and fell on the ground, while his other companion managed to escape from the spot taking advantage of the darkness. The police immediately took the injured Asad to the nearest hospital for treatment, where the doctors declared him dead. Police have recovered the accused’s motorcycle and an illegal country-made pistol from the encounter site. The constable injured in this encounter has also been admitted to the hospital for treatment, where his condition is now said to be out of danger.

The police is now investigating the horoscope of the acquaintance from whom he had come to Khoda to collect money.
