CM Gupta’s new initiative on World Environment Day, ‘Mega Plantation Drive’ started in the capital

World Environment Day is being celebrated across the country today i.e. on 5th June. Meanwhile, Delhi CM Rekha Gupta A big campaign has been started to make the capital more clean, green and sustainable. The government has officially launched the ‘Mega Plantation Drive’ on the occasion of World Environment Day, which aims to improve the environment of the capital and promote environmental conservation.

Call to join ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign

Under this drive, people have been urged to be a part of the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign. Along with this, an appeal has also been made to the people of Delhi that this time in monsoon and environment season, at least one tree should be planted. The aim of starting this campaign is to take ‘Mission Green Delhi’ to every home so that the dream of ‘Green Delhi, Happy Delhi’ can be realized on the ground.
