CM Samrat gave a gift, 2.48 lakh farmers of Bihar got money

Patna. The state government has released financial assistance to help the farmers affected by the natural disaster in Bihar. Farmers whose crops were destroyed due to floods and continuous heavy rains are being provided relief through agricultural input grants. Under this initiative, a total of Rs 112.52 crore has been sent to the bank accounts of 2 lakh 48 thousand 704 farmers.

Farmers got assistance through DBT

The government has transferred the grant amount directly to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries. Its objective is to provide some relief to the farmers facing financial problems due to crop failure, so that they can meet the necessary expenses related to farming.

Will help in preparing for the next crop

Farmers' income is affected when crops are damaged due to floods and heavy rains. After this, arranging for sowing of the next crop, seeds and other agricultural materials also becomes a challenge. In such a situation, the assistance received can prove useful for the farmers.

Why is this amount important for farmers?

Agricultural input grants can provide financial support to affected farmers to restart farming and gather necessary resources. However, separate information about the amount sent to each farmer's account is not available. Farmers should check their bank account to see the payment status.
