Kolkata:The first BJP government of Bengal started work rapidly on Monday itself. Within hours of taking the oath of office, Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari issued a dozen directions, including measures to control the volume of loudspeakers outside religious places and reopening of more than 1,300 cases of post-poll violence. He increased the age limit for government jobs from 40 to 45 and announced free travel for women in private buses from June 1.
