The government has also decided on a special uniform to give this force a distinct and unique identity. Under this, women policemen and sub-inspectors will wear the following uniform:

  • blue shirt
  • khaki pants

  • black shoes

This uniform will make the officers deployed in the field easily recognizable, which will also make it easier for citizens to seek help. Officials believe that this initiative will make communication between the police and the public more effective and ensure faster help in emergency situations.

The Singappan Special Task Force is tasked with a number of important responsibilities, including:

  • Immediate action on crimes related to women and children

The objective of this initiative is not only to take action after crime, but also to prevent crime and provide timely intervention.
