CM Yogi increased the honorarium and monthly allowances of government advocates by 50 percent, Prashant Singh Atal welcomed it.

Lucknow. Under the leadership of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state cabinet has made a historic increase of 50 percent in the honorarium and monthly allowances of all government advocates of the state. State convenor of BJP Law Cell, senior advocate Prashant Singh Atal said that this decision is welcome and commendable.

Prashant Singh Atal said that this decision will not only boost the respect and morale of the advocates, but will also strengthen the quality and efficiency of judicial work. He said that the state government has accepted the contribution of the advocates and fulfilled their long-term demand, for which he is heartily thankful to the Chief Minister and the Cabinet.

Increase in fees and honorarium of state law officers was also approved. The monthly honorarium of district government advocates has been increased from Rs 9 thousand to Rs 14 thousand, while the fee per hearing has been increased from Rs 1650 to Rs 2500. The honorarium of additional district government advocates has also been increased from Rs 7900 to Rs 12 thousand. Law officers of the state will directly benefit from this decision of the government.
