DK Shivakumar now in command of Karnataka, power transfer after three years

Now the DK Shivakumar era has started in Karnataka. DK Shivakumar was sworn in as the new CM of the state in a ceremony held on Wednesday. Along with this, his cabinet included G. Parmeshwar will be made Deputy CM. After DK, he was sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister.

13 new ministers are also being sworn in in the new cabinet of DK Shivakumar. Before DK Shivakumar was sworn in, Siddaramaiah welcomed him with a bouquet. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi are also present on this occasion.

Of. H Muniyappa has been administered the oath of office as minister. He is an experienced Dalit face of Congress. Muniyappa, 78, belongs to the SC community. He was MP from Kolar Lok Sabha seat seven times. He has been the former Food and Supplies Minister. He has become MLA for the first time from Devanahalli.

Apart from this, KG George, MB Patil, Ramalinga Reddy, Satish Jakholi, Krishna Byregowda, Priyank Kharge, UT Khedar, Ishwar Khandre, Yatind Siddaramaiah, Bairathi Suresh and Sharan Prakash Patil have been sworn in as ministers.

Recently, following the orders of the party high command, Siddaramaiah had resigned from the post of Chief Minister. After this this responsibility was handed over to DK Shivkumar. Shivkumar has expressed his priority to rule the state. He said that he is extremely grateful for the trust and confidence that the people of the state have shown in him.

According to him, the path ahead will not be easy and many challenges will arise. He will work with full hard work and honesty. Will live up to the public trust. He said that his government’s focus will be on core issues like good governance, development, strengthening infrastructure, attracting investment.
