Lucknow. Two residential plot schemes and five apartment projects were launched in Uttar Pradesh capital Lucknow on Thursday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed the Bhoomi Pujan of these projects. Residential schemes include Varun Vihar and Naimish Nagar Scheme. Registrations for both the schemes have also been started.

Varun Vihar Scheme is being developed in Kakori near Agra Expressway, while Naimish Nagar Scheme is being built in Sitapur Road-IIM Road area. Land has been acquired in 18 villages of BKT tehsil for Naimish Nagar. Both the schemes are being developed at a cost of about Rs 12 thousand crores. In these, the price of plot has been fixed at Rs 2800 to Rs 3800 per square foot.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Varun Vihar Yojana is being developed in an area of more than 6500 acres and Naimish Nagar Yojana is being developed in an area of about 4100 acres. He said that the objective of these schemes is not limited to the expansion of Lucknow, but it will also give impetus to the infrastructure of the State Capital Region (SCR).
SCR includes Lucknow along with Hardoi, Unnao, Sitapur, Rae Bareli and Barabanki. The Chief Minister said that development works are being carried out in a systematic manner in the State Capital Region. In the coming time, this area will be known for IT sector and modern infrastructure.

We gave our land to Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) for Varun Vihar and Naimish Nagar Schemes, in return for which I have received a compensation of Rs 70.58 lakh with complete transparency. With this amount I have bought land at another place and will be able to use it for my education expenses also.
