Mathura. Amidst the looming 2027 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a big political and cultural message from the holy land of Mathura. During his visit to Mathura, the Chief Minister expressed his frank views on Sanatan Dharma, India's cultural heritage and the development of the country. After his statement, discussions have intensified in the political circles of the state.

Sanatan Dharma has very deep roots
Addressing the function, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the faith and tradition of Sanatan Dharma is so strong that no power in the world can shake it. Referring to history, he said that the country was attacked by many invaders, many great civilizations came and ended with time, but India's Sanatan Dharma still stands with all its glory and respect.
CM Yogi stressed that those who tried to harm Sanatan Dharma were themselves lost in the pages of history, but not even a hair of our religious and cultural faith could be destroyed.
Period of cultural renaissance: Referring to the ongoing cultural renaissance in the country, the Chief Minister said that today India is rapidly regaining its old identity.

Revival of religious places: Giving examples of the construction of the grand Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya, the grand appearance of Kashi Vishwanath Dham and the all-round development of Mathura-Vrindavan, he said that this change reflects the new direction of the country.
Respecting Heritage: The main objective of the government is not just to construct roads or buildings but also to ensure full respect and protection of the religious and cultural heritage of the country.
Development of Brajbhoomi: The development of Braj region is among the top priorities of the government. There will be no compromise of any kind with the convenience and safety of the devotees visiting Mathura.
political turmoil intensifies
After this statement of the Chief Minister, a period of rhetoric has started in the politics of Uttar Pradesh. On one hand, the Sant Samaj, local citizens and supporters of the ruling party have welcomed this statement, while the opposition parties are linking it to the 2027 elections. The opposition believes that such issues are being raised as the elections approach.
