CM Yogi's big announcement for Gen Z-Gen Alpha, new youth policy will come soon in UP

The Chief Minister said that a new integrated youth policy will soon be implemented in the state. The objective of this policy will be to simultaneously promote skill development, employment, self-employment and innovation of the youth.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, after hoisting the flag at his official residence in Lucknow, gave information about the government's plans for the future of the youth. He said that participation of students, players, researchers, youth associated with startups and youth representatives working in different fields will be ensured in formulating the new youth policy. The government will endeavor to ensure that the policy is not limited to employment only, but also prepares the youth for changing technology and future needs.

Emphasis on new technology for Gen Z and Gen Alpha

The Chief Minister said that technology is changing rapidly in the era of Gen Z and Gen Alpha. In such a situation, it is necessary to equip the youth with new technical abilities. In Uttar Pradesh, work is being done to promote areas like Artificial Intelligence i.e. AI, Machine Learning, Semiconductor, Data Center, Cyber ​​Security, Agritech, Fintech and Robotics.

The government believes that by increasing investment in these areas, new industries and startups will develop in the state. Along with this, new employment and self-employment opportunities will also be created for the youth. In the new youth policy, there is a preparation to link these emerging areas with the skill development of the youth.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the government's aim is not only to make the youth job seekers but also to make them employment providers. For this, emphasis is being laid on schemes promoting self-employment and entrepreneurship.

Referring to the Chief Minister Yuva Udyami Yojana, he said that through this, interest and guarantee free loans are being provided to the youth to start their own business. The government claims that through such schemes the youth are getting opportunities to stand on their own feet.

Yogi Adityanath also claimed that the youth of the state have now come out of the problem of migration to a greater extent than before. The government's effort is to provide adequate opportunities for education, employment and business to the youth in their own state.

Claim of 9 lakh government jobs in 9 years

Referring to the last nine years of his government's tenure, the Chief Minister said that during this period, about 9 lakh government jobs have been provided in Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, he also claimed to create employment opportunities for about 4 crore youth.

He also mentioned the expansion of startup ecosystem in the state. According to the Chief Minister, now more than 22 thousand startups have been started in Uttar Pradesh. The government aims to further strengthen the culture of entrepreneurship and innovation among the youth.
