CM Yogi’s big counterattack from Deoria rally, said – those who used to create riots on Ram Navami should not teach us faith today.
digital desk- Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has launched the sharpest and all-round attack on the opposition till date after the first FIR was registered by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) in the case of alleged irregularities in offerings at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya and the arrest of the main accused. While addressing a huge public meeting in Deoria, CM Yogi bluntly said that corruption will not be tolerated at any level in his government. He made it clear that the government had committed on the very first day that there would be ‘milk of milk and water of water’ in this matter, and as soon as the preliminary report of the SIT came, strict and impartial action had been initiated immediately.
“Those who opened fire on ‘Jai Shri Ram’ should not teach us faith.”
The Chief Minister took on the opposition parties raising questions on the sanctity of Ayodhya and Lord Shri Ram by showing them the mirror of history. He said in strong words, “Ayodhya is a symbol of the collective faith of all of us. Stop attacking Ayodhya and learn to follow the dignity of Shri Ram.” Taking the opposition to task, CM Yogi further said, “Those who are pointing fingers today, their intentions were never good. These are the same people who had given an affidavit in the court saying that ‘Ram did not happen’ and always kept denying Ayodhya. The other party raising questions today is the one who once used to fire sticks and bullets on saints and devotees who raised slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram’, used to create riots on Ram Navami and on Kanwar Yatra. Used to impose restrictions. Will you tell us what faith is?
Sharp attack on Congress: “The country was not just looted, it was brutally torn apart”
Amidst the huge crowd that gathered at the public meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also fiercely attacked the Congress party. He said that Congress, during its decades-long rule, not only looted the country but also brutally tore it apart at every level. Today such people are pretending to be honest and talking about purity, which is extremely ridiculous and condemnable. CM Yogi said in a warning tone that no attempt should be made to test Ram devotees for political gains and to play with their unwavering faith.
Challenge: Instead of spreading it in the media, give evidence directly to SIT
Citing transparency, the Chief Minister has directly challenged the opposition leaders. He said that if the opposition has any real proof, document or evidence regarding this alleged episode, then it should be presented directly before the SIT instead of spreading cheap politics and confusion by highlighting it in the media. The investigation is proceeding in a completely fair and transparent manner, and whoever is found guilty will be behind bars.
