CM Yogi's decision! Good news for outsourced employees

Lucknow. There is big relief news for outsourced employees in Uttar Pradesh. The state government is soon going to launch the portal and logo of Uttar Pradesh Outsourced Service Corporation. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will launch it on Wednesday during a program organized at Lok Bhavan in Lucknow. During this period, increased honorarium for outsourced workers is also expected to be announced.

More than 2.70 lakh employees benefited

According to information received from government departments, currently about 2.70 lakh outsourced employees are working in Uttar Pradesh. Employees of government corporations will also be included in the scope of the corporation, due to which this number may increase further. After the launch of the new portal, the process of recruitment of outsourced employees for departments will become online. Besides, registration of manpower providing agencies will also be started.

Preparation to pay honorarium on time every month

The main objective of an outsourced service corporation is to protect the interests of the employees. Under this, a provision has been made to stop exploitation of employees and ensure payment of honorarium by the 5th of every month. Arrangements have also been made to provide social security facilities like ESIC, EPF and medical care to outsourced workers.

Honorarium will be decided in different categories

Outsourced positions are divided into four categories. According to the proposed system, monthly honorarium has been fixed at Rs 40 thousand in Category-1, Rs 25 thousand in Category-2, Rs 22 thousand in Category-3 and Rs 20 thousand in Category-4. In such a situation, the launch of the new corporation and portal is being considered an important step for lakhs of outsourced employees of the state. This is expected to increase transparency in the recruitment process and provide timely payment and social security to the employees.
