A fictitious and satirical political page named ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ has created a stir in the internet world. The number of followers of this unique and parody page has increased overnight to beyond 1.41 crore (14.1 million). Due to its dark humor, strange election graphics and bitter political sarcasm, this page has become the center of mainstream social media discussion.

How did this ‘cockroach’ movement start?

The reason behind the page suddenly going viral is the comment of the country’s Chief Justice Surya Kant. During a court hearing, the Chief Justice had remarked, there are youth like cockroaches who do not get any employment.
