The first major protest by Gen Z on 6 June 2026 at Jantar Mantar in the country’s capital Delhi was in the headlines. Thousands of youth participated in this demonstration under the banner of ‘Cockroach Janata Party’. During this period, the voice of resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as the main demand was the loudest.
