Lucknow/Ayodhya: The Sports Department has begun the process of gathering necessary information regarding the players representing Uttar Pradesh in the Commonwealth Games. The Uttar Pradesh Sports Directorate has requested details of the state’s players participating in the competition held in Scotland.
Regional Sports Officer Animesh Saxena said that those players of Ayodhya division who have won medals in the Commonwealth Games or have participated in the competition should provide their details to the regional sports office.
The event was held from July 23 to August 2.
According to the department, the Commonwealth Games were held in Glasgow, Scotland, from July 23 to August 2. Information on medal winners and participating athletes from Uttar Pradesh is being compiled.
Details to be given in the prescribed format
The Regional Sports Officer said that the concerned players can fill the application in the prescribed format available in the Regional Sports Office and submit it.
The information provided by the players will be sent to the concerned level for further action as per the information sought by the Government of Uttar Pradesh.
